St. Mary's Elementary School

POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
Field Trips

Through the use of our "Activity Fee" funds we are able to offer many enriching, curriculum based "trips away from school" (A.K.A. Field Trips). Although many of these trips use our school bus there will be times when we will require volunteers. We really appreciate the time and effort you share with us on these days.

Most basic field trips are covered by the Activity Fee, but some signature field trips and programs, such as swimming, cross-country skiing, and the Victoria trip, require a separate fee paid by parents. Additionally, there are shared costs for some signature field trips, such as the Grade 4 Indigenous Cultural Experience and the Grade 7 Outdoor Education program.

Please for your own protection, as well as our children, remember to make sure that all the students use the seat belts.
