Volunteer Driver Form

St. Mary's form for parent volunteer drivers. Please review our Volunteering Policy for more information on the volunteering procedure.

Please ensure that the following items are completed if you, as a parent, wish to drive students for school related events. Often times, transporting students involve volunteer hours that can be put towards family volunteer hours.

1.      CRC Clearance Letter

    • If you are in need of clearance, email the office to receive the link and an access code.

2.      Completed Volunteer Driver Form. Please download, complete and then send in to the school office.

3.      Copy of ICBC Insurance

4.      Driving Record/Drivers Abstract Driving Record

Things to consider:

  • The number of seats you have available in your car for transport
    • Will you be transporting older students who are able to sit in the front seat
  • Are booster seats available for younger students or will they need to be placed in your car?
    • Will this decrease the number of available seats?
  • If your child plays on a school sports team, drivers are often requested to transport students from the school to the venues 
    • Times can vary from the start of the school day, to the end of the school day
